Neoreader and iPhone

I downloaded and tested the Neoreader, a way of taking a picture of a QR code, and then automagically jumping to the web page embedded in the code.

I made my own QR code and printed it out at two sizes, one 3 inches square, the other 1 inch square.

I took a photo of the 3 inch square using Neoreader, it worked fine, took me to the web site ( http://web.me.com/hodgsonb/QRCodes/QRWelcome.html)

I tried the 1 inch square, the iPhone camera focus is too long (a few inches) to take a detailed enough photo of the code, so it can't decode it.

I assume that these codes when printed in newspapers or magazines aren't going to be 3 inches square, so the iPhone seems limited due to the focus issue.

Shame.

Bill.
