NO SOFTWARE!!! PL0X HELP!!!

Ok, so i buy an iPod touch 16GB, plug it in, get the 2.0.2 software, and now it says it doesn't have software for device, doesnt show up on itunes, and windows says its "unknown device" it worked until i tryed new software help!
