I can only hear clicker through headphones? Help needed.

Hello,

I've a new 5G video iPod and I can only hear the clicker through the headphones. Is there a setting I'm missing that will allow me to hear the clicker without the headphones plugged in? I have the clicker turned "on" but to no avail unless I plug in the phone and then I can only hear it through them. Weird.

Doesn't the clicker have a setting list like this?

Off
Speaker
Headphones
Both

Double-check that by clicking on the Clicker setting multiple times.

Thank you for the pointer. I read through the thread but I believe my pod has the opposite problem. I can't hear the clicking sound externally at all, which seems strange, whether the setting is to on or off.

Thanks for the reply. I missed it the first time I checked back. The choices for settings on the current gen iPod with video are only off or on. I originally picked up a 30 gig before exchanging it for the 60 and you could hear the clicker just like on an older pod right out of the box.

Everything else seems to work fine on the iPod so I may just let it go.
