How do I uninstall/unsync Outlook from my Iphone?

I just set up my new iPhone, and did not mean to sync my outlook mail with my phone -- my phone now has about 10 old outlook accounts that try to load when I hit mail -- how do I get the accounts off of the phone without losing the other backed up data like my contacts? Is this done through iTunes or can I just delete somehow on the phone itself?

I phone, Windows XP

You can delete the individual email accounts from your iPhone.

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.

Under Accounts, select the account name that you want to delete.

At the bottom is a big button in red that reads, Delete Account.

This will delete the selected email account only. This has no effect or bearing on contact information or anything else for that matter.

Deselect the option to transfer email account settings under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences before syncing again or the same email account settings will be transferred back to the iPhone.
