Iphone Touch screen not working correctly when trying to dial phone

Does anyone out there know how to calibrate the touch screen or fix this?
When I try to dial a call I can't get the 0 button to highlight or the * or # for that matter. So I can't dial any numbers that have 0 in them unless I already have them as a contact. Please help.

I am having EXACTLY the same problem... "*" "0" and "#" cannot be pressed - the rest of the phone's keypad acts fine and other apps i.e. Text Messaging and usually any other seems fine (knock on wood).

However, in addition to the phone's keypad having issues with those three "keys", the lower icons on the home screen are also inaccessible; more-or-less in the same area, and do not work.

HELP HELP HELP!!!!

I am having the same problem but it is the upper cell of the touch screen. When I need make a call, I can not dial numbers 4,5 or 6. I can not use any of the icons in that same region and it is really annoying. Help!!!!!!

reset your phone by holding the sleep button and home button at the same time until you see a silver apple. Do not side to turn off at the prompt.

I experienced something similar with my iPod Touch. Gave it the old college try - soft/hard resets, restore, restore as new, etc. Nothing worked. The weird part was that it was intermittent. Finally, I had enough and one day when it was acting up, I immediately took it to the Apple Store in it's faulty state. They replaced it on the spot.
