WMV Player Pro $49
http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv.htm
With this QT "plug-in" you can now watch WMV content right within QT. Even works in Safari (try out CNN.com) There is a demo for testing. It will play half of a WMV file in demo mode. The basic version lets you simply open WMV files and play them in QT. It's only $10.
The Pro version of the plug-in will allow you to export the files from QTPro as QT files (and with QT 7.0.3 you can now create iPod .m4v ready files). You can also move footage into iMovie, After Effects, etc. It's $49.
I own it and it seems to work just fine with Tiger OS X 10.4.2 and QT 7.0.3.
The Studio versions offer WMV export and HD content export. They are more expensive.
Hope this helps,
Steve

How about free ones?
Some people use VLC or MPlayer as players but don't know how well or if they can do conversions.

Open the WMV in media player, then save as .MPG, then Videora iPod converter, worked for me.
