Itunes Account with no Credit Card

Itunes Account with no Credit Card

Is it possible to have such a thing? I would just like to download the album artwork but apparently that requires an account with a credit card attached. The iTunes store tells me that my MobileMe account is already considered an iTunes Store account but when I try to use such I am prompted for credit card information. Perhaps I am missing something?

Mac Pro, Shuffle, iPod 4G, iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

You need a gift card or a CC to register.
If you use a CC, register at the store then you can delete the CC info.

Thanks Chris. That is very disappointing to read though. Apple really should implement a "No-Card" option rather than hide features of iTunes from users without CCs.

You need a card to verify your location (for purchases and copyright restrictions).

This is ridiculous. How about people like me who live in a country without an iTunes store? And I'm a teenager, for crying out loud - I don't have a credit card!

Come on, Apple. Why do you need credit card info to recommend songs or get album covers. Immensely stupid move.

I tried with an iTunes gift card and it didnt work, I was still prompted to enter cc infor.
