NFL.com Fantasy Football Live Updates!

Hi all,

This isn't a question, but strictly for those interested. I've been busting my *** trying to find an application to display live updates for Fantasy Football. I've tried Sportacular, Live Stats, and Sportstap. I'm in an NFL.com league and a Yahoo league. As of right now, the Yahoo league ***** even on a PC/Mac (not compatable with new vs. of Flash). However, if you log onto your fantasy page on NFL.com and go to "Live Updates", you will get your stats in real time! This will work on a 3G and Wifi signal. I have not tested it on Edge.

Just thought the handfull of you guys would like to know.

How did you manage to get to your fantasy page on nfl.com I haven't been able to for two weeks I log in see my team but as soon as i click on it I keep getting redirected to nfl.com/wap I don't have any problems accessing my yahoo league though. any advice would be apprectiated.

I'm having the same problem. I try to login to my team homepage, and I get redirected to nfl.com/wap. Is this an iPhone problem, or an nfl.com problem? Anybody know of a workaround?

This is NFL.com. They are detecting the Safari Mobile browser agent and sending you to their site designed for mobile phones. Most likely this is because they have a contract and special application with Sprint.

This absolutely *****, and NFL.com should be ashamed of itself.

Apple needs to allow us the option to turn off 'mobile' websites, just give us what the iPhone used to be able to do... regular internet!

Apple needs to add the ability to change the user agent string for mobile Safari like you can with Safari for Windows or OSX. Then NFL.com will think you are using FireFox, IE, or whatever browser you desire.

Are you listening Apple? iPhone 2.2 is just around the corner and this would be a nice addition.

Looking for an answer myself, and having the same scenario as your answers showed...I came back to this page to help whom ever hasn't found an answer yet.

Go to:
http://blog.mlive.com/geekguide/2008/09/geeks_confession_how_i_usemy.html

...and click on the 'mobile page' in the column 'Fantasy football with NFL.com's mobile page'
once you do that, log in to you page on your cell.
It may take a few times, but it works! Now you can check scores or steal free agents before bed time..
