When I receive an email with a tif attachment my iphone shows a box within "?" and don't display the image.
But sometime iphone shows the tif attachment.
Why this? What type of difference?
Mail sometimes has problems with certain tif images. One workaround is to tap the arrow button at the bottom of the email, then tap Save Image - you can view the image in Photos > Camera Roll.
I've tried to solve problem doing this but don't work.
But the problem seems ti appear only with some type of tif files. If I send to me some tif files it works great always.
Other tif file don't work. Never!
All files are tif and i can view them on my pc.
Likely something specific about the files themselves, then (e.g. type of compression, byte order, etc.) - things that can be set when saving a tif in Photoshop, for example.
