Updating Cell towers

I was wondering if the iphone had an update towers function. For example on verizon and other carriers you dial a number and it updates your roaming and cell tower capability. Does AT&T/iphone have something of this nature?

Something similar:

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

This will pull your iPhone off the cell towers, reset it, and reacquaint it with the best possible connection from where you are. 🙂

thank you for the response. That is a good suggestion. I wish at&t would get their act together with this whole coverage stuff. I guess I just have to wait for them to put more towers in my area.
