iPhoto synching feature suggestion - more 'Event' flexibility

The current iPhoto event synching functionality with the iPhone are not very good. It gives the ability to synch 'All' events. That's too many for most users. I don't really want 10,000 photos (5+ gigs) on my phone. The other options (1, 3, 5, 10, 20) events are too few.. I don't know why someone would just want to synch the last event. That seems like an odd thing to do. I have probably about 200 events. And about 20 events in the last couple months... So 20 is too few for me.

How about giving me the ability to synch the last 50 or 100 events too?

Another suggestion for iPhoto synching... Let me pick the events that I want to synch like I can do for albums. Since events in iPhoto are basically an auto-created album. I don't want to manually create albums for each event that I want to synch... Just let me pick the events I want to synch instead. This would be a lot nicer.

Those 2 features would make the photo synching great.
