new airport extreme with wireless g accessories?

I love my powerbook g4 and old airport express for streaming music, but I'm out of room on my HD. I want to get a new airport extreme and host my entire library on an external drive, keeping my old airport express for wireless music streaming. Will the airport express (wireless g) work on the airport extreme's (wireless n) network? Will I in effect be able to use my powerbook g4 as a remote, sending music from a hard drive wirelessly to my stereo?

yes, I do that. Place all secondary routers in bridge mode.

just to be clear...i think i'm trying to do the same thing.

if i have an airport extreme and an airport express, i can then use my computer as a 'remote' of sorts? that is to say, i can wirelessly access my HD through the extreme and then if i put the express in bridge mode i can play music thats on that HD wirelessly through a pair of compatable speakers? this would in turn make everything wireless i believe...thanks for any help.
