Not all Applications are synced

After some syncing problems I have reinstalled my Touch software and then reloaded all my applications. I got an error message saying two applications could not be loaded because they were incompatible. However when I look at the apps I have got on the Touch ( now in alphabetical order) they only go up to "Spanish"; the 28 apps after that have not been synced from "Tanzen" to "Yes/No" have NOT appeared on my Touch, including a couple I even paid for!
I have bags of spare memory, I have tried a restart, I have not got any other error messages- what is going on?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.4), iTunes 8 and iPod 2.1
