Question

iphone 3g 2.1 firmwire upgrade... no service

Can someone help me please, I just updated my iphone 3g to firmwire 2.1 but when I enable my 3g service... my screen shows no service, if you know the answer for this please post it.

I do not understand what you mean by Enabling 3g. Since it is enabled by default and there is no setting to my knowleddge that turned it off.

Did your phone Activate after the first boot and did you enter the sim pin?

You can turn it on/off... [Settings>General>Networks] you can turn it on/off...

And what do you mean by activate after the first boot?

There are a few threads on this already--you are not the only one having the issue, many of us are. You can search for those and read through to see if any of the fixes work for you--some work for some, not for others. Good luck!
