iPod touch cases for 2nd generation

I think what we are looking for is some direction on navigating the site. The listing for iPod Touch cases is extremely long and I see no mention of iPod Touch 2nd gen. It would be helpful to find what we seek without clicking every single link.

These are the only two mentions of ipod touch cases that specifically say they're for the 2nd generation I could find on the site. Hope that helps you guys more than "Wow."

Incipio has new cases for the 2G, but they are already sold out of many of them.

I ordered their 'dermashot' silicone case on Friday and it arrived on Monday (which I thought was really impressive considering I'm on the east coast and they're on the west coast). It is a nice quality, albeit basic, silicone case. Fits like a glove. Does not include any kind of screen cover. My intent was to just get something on my new IPT until Speck, iFrogz, and others debut their updated wares. I will probably get something sexier later, but for now this provides basic protection and a better grip.

Thanks for the link, there are a few left and I grabbed 2 for DH and I. We have been looking every where for something to protect our IPT until the hard shell cases are released.

I've gotte sick and tired of waiting for 2G touch cases to come out. You would think that they would have them ready for lunch? Anyway, I'm using the plastic case the touch came in for storage. It will do for now.

There aren't cases available yet at the Apple stores or on Apple.com for the NEW iPod Touch. The cases for the first gen iPod do not fit properly for the 2nd gen. I was at the Apple store yesterday, and was informed that cases for new products are typically available 4-6 weeks after the product launch. Doesn't make sense to me, but whatever. They should be available soon, but not yet....

Bestbuy had G2 cases in when I picked my IPT up the other day. This is what I got. Like it alot, but I do need to get a screen protector.
