Toshiba Colorstream with ATV?

So I have a Toshiba TV with the colorstream inputs on the back whcih are red green and blue, when I plug the ATV up to this I get no picture. Is there a way to get my ATV to work on this older model TV?

Toshiba's blurb about this:

ColorStream™ component video
This is the best type of signal delivery currently availableA ColorStream™ component signal bypasses your TV's tuner, comb filter, and NTSC decoder. It is delivered to your TV via three cables and keeps all of the picture elements separate, which increases colour resolution. This type of connection provides you with a very clean picture, eliminating noise and crosstalk between colours.

ColorStream™ is also the ultimate way to experience DVD. And, it ensures that your TV will be ready for the future of digital TV.

If you want to ensure that you're ready for the digital future, look for a TV with ColorStream™ inputs.

I hope you don't have Colorstream Pro inputs as apparently these are proprietary Toshiba inputs which only work with a specific Toshiba DVD player:

From second reply to this:

"Toshiba's component video inputs will accept other component video inputs. The difference, however, is that to use the Colorstream PRO inputs, if your set has them, you must use the Colorstream PRO outputs from a Toshiba DVD; specifically, the 7108. Not all Toshiba sets have these inputs, only 3 models do, I believe. You should check the Toshiba website to be certain. Your source may be confused between these two types of inputs.

In the former case, you see the typical component video resolution. In the latter case, you take advantage of a Toshiba-proprietary system that functions effectively like a line doubler and produces the essential equivalent of a 480P progressively scanned image, which should be much better."

1 Press and hold both 'menu' and ' +' on the Apple Remote for about 6 seconds.
2 Press '+' or '-' on the Apple Remote to cycle through the display resolutions.
3 When Apple TV reaches an acceptable display resolution and “If you can see the Apple
logo, select OK” appears on your TV screen, press ’ .

When it turns on everything is jumbled, when the apple logo appears a huge band of jumbleness stretches across the screen where the logo sits, if i didn't know that the apple logo appeared at the beginning i wouldn't recognize that anything is getting through. So this let's me know that some signal is getting there, it's just completely unrecognizable.
