Not happy with upgrade to 8

I have a 32gig touch and with version 8, when I open my audio book section, it just goes back to the main screen. It will not hold the last played point in anything. I really liked the touch before this but am frustrated with them releasing buggy software when they only have a few models that they need to test it on. I have reset, wiped and reloaded. Oh yeah and one more thing the speakers in the new even thinner Ipod touch, aholes should have put them in the first one. Thanks and if anyone has any ideas about the aidiobooks, let me know please.
