iTunes Freezes when trying to sync iPhone

Hi - am I the only one who has problems syncing the iPhone after the various iPhone/iTunes updates? I need a solution, since I cannot sync anything anymore. It might be an overall sync problem, as I am not able to click the sync icon in the top bar either.. any tips appreciated...
