When I try to open Network Preferences, a message "Network preferences have been changed by another application" appears. I click "OK" to dismiss the message, and it appears again. The only way to get rid of it is to force-quit System Preferences. I couldn't find any clue to the cause in the system log.



iMac (slot-loading 600 MHz G3), Mac OS X (10.4.11), 512 MB RAM (Apple-installed)
