Trouble Installing HP Photosmart C3180 All in One

Hi.
Last year I bought a Macbook with Tiger and I got the HP Photosmart C3180 printer with it. I recently updated to a Macbook pro with Leopard and I am trying to install the printer software onto this new computer, but I'm encountering an error. Everything apparently installs, but as soon as the Setup Assistant launches, a message comes up saying "The application HPIO Trap Monitor quit unexpectedly." And when I go on through the setup assistant, my printer doesn't show up in the window that asks you to select your printer. It is connected fine through the USB and everything. I have no idea what this HPIO Trap Monitor application is. I tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling but I got the same issue. Also, I'm pretty sure the software was uninstalled on my old computer because we restored the hard drive on it before giving it away (unless that doesn't uninstall it, I'm not really sure). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
