Lack of response with keystroke after update?

Aloha all, has anyone noticed if the keyboard problem ( where the keystrokes don't work if the machine has been idle for awhile) has been fixed with this update? Before you ask, I've done all the suggested steps to correct it, including the keyboard firmware update, none of which solved the problem. I'm on another machine now and haven't had the chance to update my Macbook yet. Mahalo for any info, tips. JB
