Opening pages created in old version of iweb in iWeb 08

I have a website that I created with the old version of iweb and have since upgraded to iweb 08. Now when I open iweb I can not access my site to edit it.

Do I have to recreate my entire site again using the new version???? Please help.

Mac OS X (10.5.4)

Find the domain.sites file for your original website. Double click it to launch it in iWeb and the application will offer to convert it for you.
This process is not reversible so you should make a backup copy of your domain file before doing this.

Do you know where I might find the domain.sites file??? On my desk top or through .mac?

It should be located in your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder.

Ok so I found the domain in User/Library/Application Support/iWeb but.....my computer was recently reimaged and now its not there. When I originally created the site I "published it to a folder" which I do still have and I can still access my pages through my account on .mac but I guess I didn't know I had to back up the Application support folder too.

Am I out of luck? I am I correct in assuming that I will not be able to edit the files that I published to a folder?

All the information iWeb needs to create your websites is in one file known as the Domain file. Note: If no Domain file exists, you will be prompted to create a new site.

You can still assist in rebuilding your site by visiting your published page from a web browser and copy/paste elements from your visited published page into your new iWeb project.
