Missing contacts after iPhone 3G sync

Hey everyone

Im having a problem with syncing my contacts from address book to the iPhone 3G. It runs through the sync process but when I check the phone 5 contacts are missing. I've tried deleting the contacts and recreating a new one but this does not solve the problem. Can anyone help? Thanks

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.4), 2 x 3 Ghz Dual-Core Intel Xeon

UrbanClimber,

Have you reset sync history yet? It's a good first step, and more info can be found here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iSync/2.0/en/isc39.html

Also, have you tried reimporting your current contacts? To do so, first create an Address Book Archive following these steps: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=AddressBook/4.1/en/9158.html

Once complete, quit Address Book completely and drag this file to your Desktop: ~/Library/Application Support/Address Book

Re-open Address book and import your archive using the instructions listed in the above article.

Also, if you haven't already, you should update to the latest Mac OS X version. More info can be found here: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/macosx1055update.html

Hope this helps,

Raleigh
