itunes stops playing after each song

Do all the songs in the playlist have a checkmark next to them?

Do you have Shuffle turned on....and are songs in the playlist set to Skip When Shuffling? (check under Get Info)

same prbl here since Itunes 8 and QT 7.5.5. It seem that to run QT when Itunes 8 is playing caused this behavior (among ten others). I have reinstalled Itunes and QT in safe mode, repaired permissions, etc, etc, nothing. The unique way I,ve found is to restart my Imac...

Same problem here. Sometimes iTunes will cycle through songs, but mostly after playing a single song in a playlist, it stops. All songs in the playlist are checked. Started with iTunes 8.

there's a solution. If you have Shuffle (for a playlist) activated.

Just disable shuffle, press play and then activate shuffle. This works an you can skip songs with remote or keyboard (of course by clicking the next or previous button)

Me too.. the re-sort work around doesn't work for me. Problem started since I upgraded to 8.. my first iTunes problem ever!

I had same problem and this seems to be all that can be done. I sent a bug resport to apple too so hopefully they will come up with a proper solution

Same exact problem for me. However I am playing from my synced iPod in manual mode. Just started with iTunes 8.
