what happened to display options

I upgraded to 10.5.4 yesterday and I lost my options tab in the display under system preferences. I have the 23'' model connected to my macbook pro and as far as I know the options tab was there till yesterday.
Any ideas to bring it back?

What a very good question!

I was missing the Options tab as well and this solved the problem. After thinking about it: How could a shutdown signal find its way to the Computer through the video channel alone...?

This issue is not mentioned in the documentation.
