Outlook calendar color on iPhone

I have my Outlook 2003 Calendar being synced via ActiveSync/Exchange to my iPhone. I only have 1 calendar and that calendar and all the events show up in Red. How do I change this to Green?

You cannot directly select the calendar colors. They are assigned to synced calendars in a specific order. To get a calendar to be a specific color, you'd need to sync 'empty' calendars to 'use up' the other (undesirable) colors in the list order.

If you feel that one should be able to select calendar colors, you can submit feedback to Apple: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html.

I have two calendars, one that is syncing through MicroSoft Exchange, and the normal iPhone calendar. The colors were red (MS Exchange Cal) and orange (iPhone Cal) since launch day until a couple of days ago.

Now both calendars are yellow, and now the text on my appointments show as white text on this yellow background which is nearly impossible to read. I've tried reseting the phone in hopes that the calendars would go back to the normal colors, but that hasn't worked.

Any ideas how to get back to 'normal'?

Update: Well I'll be....I kid you not, when I was typing this message my colors have now changed back to normal. Red, and Orange have returned...

What may have fixed this for me is that my employer is in the process of changing their mail server address. Currently both old and new server addresses are functioning. I just changed settings to point to the new address while typing the message above, so perhaps that triggered the calendar colors to be re-assigned.

So, if anyone else is experiencing a similar issue, perhaps altering your mail account settings slightly will resolve the issue.

The easiest way i've found to change the colours or reset them is from within outlook. If you move them to a personal folder and let the change sync (so effectively all cals are removed from the phone) if you add them back in one at a time they will pick up various colours. There is an order to this which i can't remember...

Note I can't take any credit for this, i read it on a forum around 7 months ago but thought i'd share the knowledge!
