Ipod Stuck On Reset Loop

Hey there,
I was resetting my ipod when iTunes asked me if I wanted to install the latest update on my ipod. I clicked yes and as it was uploading my ipod crashed. Im assuming it already erased the old software and now the ipod has nothing to boot up so its constantly stuck on the apple logo and restarting over and over.

My itunes isn't recognizing theres an ipod connected and neither is my computer's usb port (im on a macbook). I've got the ipod on the diagnostics screen but how do i load the software back on to it??

HELP!

MACBOOK, Mac OS X (10.0.x)

Hi,

I know that this situation is very panicking, I've been through this. If your iPod is stuck in a 'reset loop' all you need to do is to put it into Disk Mode (Center+Left). Then connect it to computer and iTunes will recognize it. If this happens again and again, restore your iPod through iTunes. That ought to fix it.

Your prayer has been answered!
