Epson Printer Issue

I recently downloaded OSX 5.5 and the new raw file support. I shoot a Nikon D700. I printed my first D700 images tonight and I get horrible images - much like you'd get if you were printing matte settings on gloss paper. I have also downloaded the latest Epson drivers with no improvement in my results. Previously used a D300 with none of these issues. Any ideas or suggestions?
