Dead pixel on Ipod Nano Screen

Take it back to the store you bought it from. I would bet they'll work with you and exchange it.

If it is within 14 days of purchase, you can return it as long as there is has been no obvious use.

Don't waste your time with Apple support, just return it to the store you bought it at and get a new one.

I had deal pixels on my mobile once and was able to refund it. Last year i had dead pixels on my PC TFT LCD Monitor and PC World refused to refund it as they said it wasnt covered in the stores warranty and was completely up to the manufacturer... so we went to another PC World and they suprisingly refunded the monitor (strange)...

All LCD screens on all products are prone to dead pixels, it's all down to the way they are manufactured and Apple should know this. You should be entitled to a refund- but it unfortunately depends on their 'deal pixel policy'- if they even have one.

I believe Apple's dead pixel policy is too bad, but it's worth taking it by an Apple store.

Apple store managers have the final say on all dead pixel situations and all returns.

Also, don't call the tech people stupid. She may have just been new and was just following the script, so to speak.

I wish the nano had a monochrome screen so I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking (easily).

Consider a mini then. It has a more scratch-resistant case and its monocrome, better battery life, and larger capacity.

plus its in various colors 🙂
