email access from remote computer

I am traveling and would like to access my home email (emailname@mac.com) from a browser on a work pc. I do not wish to have yet another email account so mobileme does not seem like a good option. Is it possible to access my mac.com email account from a web browser or Microsoft Outlook while I am on the road?

Thank you for the response.

How do I point the mobileme tool to my mac.com account? I tried to read the mobileme documentation and watch the video for how to do this, but was not able to figure out how to do this.

I assume I install mobileme on both the work pc laptop (which is where I want to monitor the email from) and on my home imac computer - correct?

When you go to MM in System Preferences, click on Sync and then check the apps you want to sync, e.g. Contacts, Calendar etc. They will then be synced every time you choose to sync, either manually or automatically. Then, when you are at a PC, simply load MM and your data will appear. To sync your Outlook data, follow the instructions in [this|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2628?viewlocale=en_US] Apple article.
