Do you know if there already is a FM Transmitter for the iPod nano? I want to buy iPod nano but without that I won't! Thanks for your help

If you're questioning whether the Nano has integrated FM capabilities - then the answer is no. If you're asking whether or not there is a FM transmitter available for the Nano so you can play it through your cars stereo - I would also say no, especially when you consider the fact that it was introduced about an hour ago. You'll have to wait a few weeks for that.
I wont be buying one if it cannot play grammophone records.
And the new iTunes phone, huh, doesn't even support morse code...

I read that all the previous Dock Connector Accessories work with the nano as well. So if there was one for the Mini and normal iPod (not sure now, but do think so) then it will work for the Nano.
There are FM transmitters that are not device-specific, they just plug into the headphone jack. I have one by NewerTech that works with any device.
I recall FM was a means of analogue broadcast used before the invention of digital radio, digital satellite TV, ipods, podcasts etc.
I listened to FM radio when I was a kid, it was better than medium wave.
Why they put junk like that in my mobile phone I'll never know!

Any FM transmitter that connects to a device through the headphone jack will work with any devise that has a headphone jack.
Beware, FM transmitters are not the best option for sound quality. Lots of car stereo head units have an AUX-in on the front and if you get a cable that is a male mini-DIN on both ends, you will have much better sound than from an FM transmitter.

Suddenly I feel rather young...
does anyone know if there are any AM transmitters out there for ipods? i just enjoy listening to talk radio most of the time.
Just tried to buy the Monster Car2Play FM Transmitter today for my new nano, but discovered when I went back to the car that it does NOT work. I changed from the nano to the new iPod I just picked up, and it worked just fine. So they have changed something about that port... and my guess is that none of the other FM transmitters that use that port will work either.
I use the Monster® iCarPlay with my nano and it works great. Not only that it charges my nano, it has a great feature that pauses the iPod whenever you turn off your vehicle.
AM transmitter kit. : )

As for iCarPlay, dont buy it yet. Doesnt work with Nano. Im waiting for a response from Apple or Monster about why this is.
Do any actual apple tech's monitor these discussions? Because it looks like no-body knows for sure the answer to this Subject. "tap tap on the screen" Is anyone in there?
Macmall.com is offering a free one w/ purchase of a nano.. so there must be one
Clay,
Welcome to the discussions. These discussions are monitored, but Moderators and Apple employees rarely contribute. They mainly, well, moderate.
