I have been using Genius on my iPhone and really like it. Today however, the "atom" icon is missing. I have NOT synced lately and cannot find any way to turn Genius back on. What happened? How do I re-enable Genius?

I've experienced problems with Genius on iPhone too. Search for my post today.
Essentially I can't access Genius on iPhone anymore either and I'm also unable to delete any of the playlists.
I've raised a call with Apple Support and even after turning off Genius on my computer and turning back on and syncing with my phone I can't get Genius to work on the phone. The call has been passed to an engineer and Apple are going to get back to me on Wednesday.
Let me know if you get Genius to work for you again. I'll keep you posted on what the engineer says.
Has anyone found a solution for this? I also had my genius disappear from my iPhone. I think it occurred after I added some additional music to the phone, but I am not completely certain of that.
I tried unsyncing all of my music and then resyncing it, but that did not fix the problem.
This is a bummer because I used the feature quite a lot on my phone.
I have the same problem. One day about two weeks ago the atom icon disappeared from my iPhone. The genius feature had never worked on my Macbook Pro. When I selected a song, any song, on the computer I'd get the message that genius was not available for that song. However, I loved it on the phone and it worked great. The same song would generate a terrific playlist on the phone, until the atom symbol disappeared from the phone ;(
I figured it was a glitch that came up in the software update. If its user error, I'd sure like to know how I could fix it.
I was having the same problem and fixed it this way. There was a blank bar/UI element where the genius button and other controls used to be. I did a single finger tap where the genius button was in that UI element and the bar expanded to show the Genius button (center), repeat (left), and shuffle (right).
Hope it works for you! BTW, after this worked, I began to wonder if it was some kind of collapsible control - but I haven't been able to make it collapse again. For now, I'm just happy to have the controls back.
