255 char limit for comments field prevails in iTunes v8 :(

I don't believe it, iTunes 8 still has a 255 char limit in the comments field! This might not be so bad for music but for video it definitely is! I take movies on my camera all the time and they warrant a decent description, which can run on admittedly, and I find the 255 char limit too little.

Of course I have sent feedback but nothing has changed in this version, when I hoped it would. It doesn't (from the outside) seem like too much trouble. But it could be. Still you think of how restrictive it could be if you liked to talk a lot. Really, metadata is the only thing that can differentiate a file, so when I search for something I will dream about it and know that in the description there will be something related that I can search for.

What other programs could I use to tag my .mov movies on a Mac that does not have a char restriction?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.3)
