adapter for old powerbook : rev c / rev a

hi
i'm trying to buy a new adapter for my old powerbook. My old adapter reads "Model ADP-17AB REV:C". but the only one i've found on the internet (that I could buy) says "Model ADP-17AB REV:A" : there's just the only letter which is different. could i still use this adapter ?
The other characteristics are all identic (input, output, Hz)
help me please

Hi, as long as your original required 2.0A and not 3.0A such as the 165c/180c it will work.

One thing I do recall from back then, and I can't find the part number on the 2.0A adaptor I have here is that Apple recalled the original 2.0A AC adaptors because the plastic tips on these parts fractured and could cause a short on the plug that blew a fuse on the motherboard of the original Powerbook 100. Because the fuse was soldiered in place it meant you had to replace the part or the motherboard.

The one in the eBay auction looks like the replacement adaptor the way to tell is to look down at the tip and if you see two metal tabs in the hole surrounded by black it is the replacement version and not the defective one. The defective adaptor has a metal ring at the tip with a black plastic insulator then the silver barrel. The plastic insulator fractured and caused the problems...

I'm looking at my replacement adaptor and I can't for the life of me see anything on it with that part number. It's Model number is M5651 and at the top right 2-439-503-21 although I don't think that is the part number.
