iTunes Error (13026)

I installed the latest iTunes the other day and it worked fine however, now when I try to start iTunes I get the error 13026. I posted earlier on this board and was told to delete the iTunes Genius Database File and this should work however, when I go to delete the file, I still receive the same error when trying to start iTunes again and find that the file is still in my iTunes folder after I've deleted it. Any suggestions on how to delete this file permanently would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

I tried that and it didn't work however, I was finally able to get ahold of iPhone tech support and resolved the issue. Basically, I had to uninstall everything related to apple on my PC and reinstall quicktime, safari and iTunes. Had I not backed up all of my iTunes purchases, I would have been out some $'s. Apple support is by far superior to Dell's tech support which I was on with for 2.5 hours today and they had the nerve to ask me to pay $230 if they resolved the issue. I can't believe they would even expect me to pay that given my computer is only 28 days out of the box. Given this incident and my experience with Dell, I'm happy to say that I will be switching to a Mac once the new Macbook pros come out. Hopefully sooner rather than latter. Thanks for your help. Sorry, I'm just venting....

Kind regards,
