How to undo the damage done by SwitchResX
In trying to get my Macbook to output a 1366 x 768 resolution to my LCD TV, I downloaded SwitchResX. Prior to using SwitchResX, I was able to get it to output 1280 x 768 using the built in Preferences menu. I wasn't able to get it to do any better using SwitchResX. In playing around with it, though, I tried creating a custom setting and eventually landed on settings that didn't work at all, with the LCD saying that it was getting No Signal. However, since then, whenever I plug the LCD in, the Macbook screen flashes like it does when I normally connect an external monitor, but nothing else happens. The LCD says it's getting no signal, the Macbook doesn't detect the display (even when I hit the "Detect Displays" button) and even SwitchResX doesn't detect the LCD. However, SwitchResX still had the LCD listed in the drop down menu so I used that to restore the Factory Defaults. That did nothing. Now I just want to get back to the point where the Macbook detects the LCD and I can use 1280 x 768. Any help would be appreciated.
