Photo Booth and GarageBand?

I'm new to Mac, and after learning to use GarageBand I discovered Photo Booth-which of course allows you to make a video of yourself using the iMac's built-in camera. Sweet!

But, I'd really like to make videos of my solo acoustic act, and Photo Booth (so far as I can tell) will not let you add reverb or delay or any other effects. Is there a way to use the built-in camera to make a video while running the audio through GarageBand?

1. Can Photo Booth process audio?
2. Can GarageBand process video? (I know it can import video, but this won't work for a live performance, as I'd have to lip-sync the vocals after the fact!)

I also have Logic, but I'm avoiding this because it's too complicated. If anyone knows of a way to use the built-in camera to make a music video within Logic, that would work as well.

Thanks,
Jersey Jack

I had the same idea & problem , i like the effects in photo booth, one thing i found out is you can connect a video camera & still use photo booth, because the isight is good but you can't get much into the frame. Live , i figure it's lip sync or record it off the floor w/ not so good sound. Although i did a video of me singing & playing in photo booth & the sound was not bad, actually it was pretty good. Then i worked on it some more in imovie 08, which everyone say's isn't as good as HD 06 ,but i think it's better, i had 06 & thought it was not as good. For exporting for example 08 is better.

I'm not sure I understand how iMovie will help. This program seems to be designed to edit existing videos, not to film videos. I took a quick look at it, and the only option was to import a video, not to record one. And while I saw a "music and sound effects" option, this simply opened my iTunes music folder. Does iMovie have tools to edit audio if were to import a video from Photo Booth? I didn't see anything like this, but again I only took a quick look.

I'd like to take a simple video of myself in front of the iMac and still have the option of added reverb or EQ or other simple processing to the sound, such as one can do with audio in GarageBand (or Logic). Is this possible?
