What is Flip4Mac?

What is Flip4Mac?

Hi all.

I have a folder on my desk top, I think it is an application (program?) called Flip4Mac.

What is it and what is it used for?

Should this application/program be put into the Applications folder?

As you may have guessed, I am new to Macs. 🙂

I will read and digest your replies later today as time permits.

For the moment what I am most interested in is to be able to play .WMV and other Windows Media files..
