Driver for Dell A920 scanner/inkjet printer

Hello. I've inherited a cheap and cheerful Dell printer/scanner (model A920). I don't believe Dell ever made a driver for the Mac... what is the best third party or open source driver to get this printer hooked up to my Powerbook G4 (running 10.4.11) or our brand new Intel MacBook?

No one has gotten it to work.

If you have a PC that you could hook the printer to, you can use this workaround to share it:
http://iharder.sourceforge.net/current/macosx/winmacprinter/
