Touchpad not Working.

Hello! I have a Ipod Nano Second Gen 2gb Silver. My Touchpad is not working, what can the problem be? I have resetted it, Restarted it and reinstalled it. Nothing works? Anyone got a suggestion?

when you say touchpad i am guessing you mean the clickwheel trackpad? have you got any water/liquid on the clickwheel at any point? also try wiping the whole wheel with a cloth because there may be some slight moisture/oil/grease on the pad that will come between the ipod and your finger.

If all of this fails then take your iPod into the nearest apple store and see what they can do to help you.

I tried those but nothing worked. The Clickwheel Trackpad did work when i had full battery? But when i lost one millimeter of the battery it stopped working. And going to a close Apple store can be difficult, because I live in Sweden and we don't have that much Apple stores here 😟 So anyways thanks for your tips but they did not work that good 😟

sorry for late reply. have you also done a hard reset? (hold down menu and middle button for around 8 seconds). thats probably the best thing an apple shop would be able to do without sending it away.

Tried that 'bout 10-15 times :P Nothing works... But now when I use it abit more then before, the wheel works more and more. We'll see if it recovers 🙂 Thanks for the help anyways 🙂
