24 X 36 in pages08

I need to produce a poster for a conference and want to lay it out and print it in Pages, does the program support 24 X 36 inch vertical page size? (I think Word is limited to 22") Please don't make me use inDesign!

8-core Mac Pro, G4, a bunch of older macs & iphone, Mac OS X (10.5.5), Mac user since the 128K in 1984 (pathetic)

Yes, it can do custom sizes that large (and larger). In the Page Setup dialog box, in the Paper Size dropdown menu, you need to select "Manage Custom Sizes...", and in the new dialog create and save a new custom size, then select that as your paper size.
