Publishing Error: There was an error updating MobileMe.

Hello - I've been rec'ing this error message all day - publishing error: There was an error updating Mobile Me. What's up? My Internet connection is solid. I regularly publish to my blog www.curioustidbits.com via domain name from godaddy and hosted by Mac. I go to the Mobile Me page log on and all is well but my blog will not publish. Is anyone else having this trouble. I did pay my bill! Thank you for the feedback. Tami

Have you tried "Publish all to MobileMe"?
Can you successfully publish to a folder? Try this and launch your site in your browser by double clicking the index.html file to see if their are any problems.

It just keeps coming back with the error message. I've tried to publish it several times, waiting over an hour for it to publish then it just comes back Publish Error. It's very discouraging. Thanks for your advice.

same here. over and over. sometimes it finally just publishes after telling me error three times. it always takes a long time, error or not. very frustrating.

Try deleting the iWeb preference file Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWeb.plist, restart your Mac and run Disk Utility to repair permissions.
Relaunch iWeb and do a "Publish All".

Hello again - The same problem came back. I want to try deleting this file as you suggested:

"file Home Folder/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iWeb.plist"

but cannot find it. Sorry. Can you instruct me how to find this file?

You have at least two libraries - system and user. You want the user library.
The user library is in your Home folder which you will find in the left column of any Finder window.
Open the library folder and then the Preferences folder.
Scroll down the list to com.apple.iWeb.plist, click on it and delete.
