Altec Lansing Speakers with Dock

My nano works with the IM3. You definetly want to control it with the IM3s remote control. I emailed A-L to see when/if a dock plate adapter was going to be available. No word yet.

so ... you were using the dock cradle or cable to connect your ipod nano? I was wondering whether I can connect my nano by using the dock adapter come with the nano.

The doc adapter that came with the iPod Nano does not work with the iM3 Speakers...or even the original iM speakers. However, you can still use the built in dock on either iM Speaker. Just be careful as you line up the Nano with the dock plug.
