audiobook play speed

How do you adjust the playback speed from the Now Playing screen?

Just keep pressing the center select button (about 4 times..) Eventually you'll get to a screen where you can select Speed Normal, Slower or Faster.

Or in the Ipod, settings>audio-book. But make sure they are audio-book files or Itunes will treat them as normal songs.

Thanks Shawn. I still have trouble with the pushing of the center button. I often want to advance the story and end up mostly with the sound adjustment. That is how the speed got "off". I could see how to do it under audiobook settings, but thought it might be a slider bar under the Now Playing section.
Shreyas - someone more knowledgable than me can help you better, but I just add the book to the library of iTunes and then sync the ipod to it. I just use add to library I think. Good luck.

If they are on CD, just put them in your drive and import like music... if you buy them from iTunes then just buy them and they will download... I use Audible.com. For that, you have to download a little download manager from Audible.com that ports purchases into iTunes.
