ignore update for an app

I would also like to know if this is possible!! I don't want to keep seeing a reminder for an app I will never update. *cough, Lightsaber Unleashed*

I noticed each time I went to my App icon, it had a number on it for updates. I didn't know why I was getting this since it seemed to re-install the app's I already have. Are these actual updates? I didn't realize that since it happens everytime I go to the App icon, almost as if it didn't recognize I already downloaded the apps.

I share the same sentiment for Lightsaber Unleashed, as well as Now Playing, if only because updates always reset my settings, which is annoying.

Absolutely with you on that one - I don't want to update light saber as I've tried the new version on a friend's iPhone and don't like it. So now I'm stuck with the one update number on the icon all the time, and have to manually go through each update for other apps as update all would include light saber. Lame.

I would like to know this as well... I don't want to update Phone Saber, and don't want to be reminded of an "update."

I too am having this problem, you should be able to disable notifications at least, as in the mail application.

I also would like to ignore app store updates. It is quite annoying to see an update number next to my app store icon when I don't plan to update the app.

Come on Apple, give us this feature!

I've been looking for the ability to do the same thing here. There are a number of apps which I do not want to update at this stage, and I don't want to have to update the other apps one by one. There has got to be some way of either doing this, or Apple implementing this feature.
