Picture size when phone rings

I've looked through a couple of posts, but I can't figure this out. I have pictures assigned to my contacts in Windows Mail. When I synced I checked replace contacts on iPhone with contacts from computer, but when I get a call the pictre is a full screen picture instead of a thumbnail in the upper corner like the ads on tv. I really would like the thumbnails instead. Am I missing something here or what? I have a 3G iPhone with the latest software. Thanks for any help.

Hi JMcC24,

When the picture appears in a full-screen mode, this means you've added it directly from the iPhone. To fix that, so it appears only in the upper right corner, just delete the photo and add it via Windows Mail on your computer.

Hope this helps you! 😉

This is another issue where it matters how you do something to make it work.
If, like me first time you add the picture to a contact from your photo library or camera roll, then when the person calls, or you call them, it gets displayed full screen. If you add the contact's image into the outlook contact, and then resync, you will then get the format shown on the tv ad both when you call and are called.
Not sure if it matters, but I resized my contact images to 96 x 96 pixels.
Hope this helps
Martin
