iPhone: button with delete/backspace symbol

I'm trying to create a button with the backspace/delete symbol on it, as seen on the iPhone's built-in keyboard. On the Mac, this symbol is in Wingdings, but I don't think that font is available on the iPhone. Any ideas on how I can put this symbol on a button?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.4), iPhone EDGE 16GB

1) In any program that has an Edit menu, go to Edit -> Special Characters.
2) Make sure the "by Category" tab is selected.
3) Look under Symbols for lots of useful stuff.
4) Find the one you want, hover your mouse over it
5) Tooltip shows Unicode and UTF8 representation.
6) Use it in your code like this:

unichar delSymbolChar = 0x232B;
NSString *delSymbolString = @"⌫";

For your reference, the Delete symbol is under "Technical Symbols" with
Unicode: 232B
UTF8: E2 8C AB
