I want to buy one of these FM transmitters for my iPod Nano, have any of you guys checked 'em out? They both work with the iPod Nano (or any iPod with a dock connector), both support LX/DX modes (FM Stereo/Mono modes) and both have an LCD screen. Although the Airplay2 by Xtrememac has a pass through dock connector on the bottom to enable you to use the transmitter but charge your ipod at the same time. It is also available in black and it's design is slim to match the Nano. But Griffins iTrips have been around for a while and seem abit more reliable...
Which one would you go for?

I haven't had an iTrip before but am considering an FM transmitter for my new nano. I realize that Griffin says the iTrip is compatible with nano but I don't see any pictures of it attached to one. Seems to me that it might not look right or flush with the nano dimensions. The Airplay2 is designed specifically for nano but personally I don't like the looks of it - looks way to big and square. I read on iLounge that Griffin will be coming out with an iTrip for nano in November. Might want to wait or keep your eyes open for announcements/reviews of it.

Although i think the Airplay2 looks the best (cuz it matches the Nano) i do agree it could be less squared and more rectangular, the width is ok it's just the height of the adapter that makes it look abit akward.

Personally i wouldnt use an FM transmitter for home use- to listen to my ipod through my Hi-Fi i'd rather use an aux cable, but it's handy to have one in case your in say the car and want to tune into your songs.
