Motorola Phone sync to computer

Before Mobile Me when I would sync my computer to my Motorola Cell phone I double icon would come up and ask if I wanted that data sync from the computer to cell or cell to computer. Current it must default, cell to computer which is the reverse of what I need. Does anyone know how to specify computer data to phone when Mobile Me is active. Maybe this isn't related to Mobile Me, however, that is when the problem was noticed.

The only time you should be asked which data you want to be synced is if there are conflicts between what is on the phone and what is on the Mac, and iSync cannot determine which to use itself.

Normally, the Conflict Resolver shouldn't appear on a regular basis, so it sounds as though your syncing wasn't actually working properly before.

I would suggest ensuring that all your data is fully up-to-date on the Mac, then back it up using the relevant command on the File menu of both Address Book and iCal. Finally, in iSync select your phone and choose Reset Device... from the Devices menu.

This will make sure your phone now has the latest data on it from your Mac (and MobileMe) and subsequent syncs should go as normal.

Don't worry that the Conflict Resolver isn't appearing - it only appears when there is a problem iSync can't sort out itself.

(BTW, it's helpful to mention which specifc phone model you have, as many have different features and capabilities.)
