Apple remote desktop with windows.

Hello, my Father has 3 Mac laptops and we also have a windows laptop, I would like to know if I can install the Apple remote desktop on the Mac computers and the windows laptop?
Also another question is, are the computers have to be connected with a cable or else?

You can download install the UltraVNC server application on your Windows PC and use the Apple Remote Desktop admin application to control/observe it.

Controlling Windows computers via ARD has been covered dozens of times in this forum, many of which have been over the last few days. Please try and search before posting.
